Ellen was born and raised in Vermont, which influenced her love of nature and small communities. She received her BFA in illustration from the University of Utah, where she also discovered her love of printmaking. In her art, Ellen aims to inspire people about the possibilities of small community living, and the importance of fostering strong relationships with the natural environment.

Ellen has done illustration, mural, logo, and tattoo commissions for many years. She also sells her prints online and in person at markets.
